LeAndre Knox is a Quality Improvement Project Director with Kentucky Rural Healthcare Information Organization. In her role as Quality Improvement Project Director, she works with Rural Health Clinics on closing gaps in quality measures and accurate reporting. She has 18 years of healthcare experience with practice management, coding and billing, implementation of Quality programs and HEDIS/STARS. She currently serves as AAPC local chapter secretary, member for KRHA Legislative Committee and Stanton Tourism Commission and Convention.
Why did you want to get involved in rural healthcare?
As the dynamics of healthcare are changing to a more value based approach, I want to help rural clinics find solutions to meeting the quality gaps that exist in their clinics and improve patient care.
